Senior Hardware Engineer – High-Speed Optical Systems – New JerseyLumicity is partnered with a well-funded, early-stage semiconductor startup looking to reimagine next-generation high-speed optical hardware.This is a hands-on position where you will own hardware development from architecture and schematic design through PCB bring-up, debug, validation and productization.Role: Senior Hardware EngineerLocation: New JerseyCompensation: $160,000 - $180,000 + EquityThe skills needed for the role include:Hands-on schematic and multilayer PCB design experienceHigh-speed digital, SerDes, analog or RF hardware developmentExperience with SI/PI, board bring-up and hardware debugExposure to optical communications / optoelectronic systemsExperience interfacing with ASICs, FPGAs or DSP-based hardwareBackgrounds across optical transceivers, networking hardware, semiconductor systems, RF/microwave or high-speed instrumentation are all relevant.No sponsorship is available.
