Apply & track with Apply EdgeLegnano Teknoelectric Company Middle East, worldwide leader in the production of high-performance cores and laminations for transformers & reactors, is looking for its Dubai seat a skilled and experienced Senior HSE Officer responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across the manufacturing facility.The role will ensure compliance with applicable local and international HSE legislation, company policies, customer requirements, and recognized industry best practices.The position will play a key role in maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace, particularly within manufacturing operations.ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain company's HSE policies, procedures, standards, and programs.Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and behavioural safety observations.Identify workplace hazards, operational risks and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.Monitor compliance with safe operating procedures.Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, recommend corrective actions and monitor implementation and effectiveness of them.Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health, safety, environmental, fire, and industrial regulations.Conduct internal HSE audits and inspections and coordinate corrective actions.Support external, customer, certification, and regulatory audits.Prepare periodic HSE performance reports and management dashboards.Monitor key HSE KPIs.Develop and deliver HSE induction and awareness training for employees, contractors, and visitors and maintain training records.Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for production staff.Ensure proper segregation, storage, handling, and disposal of industrial waste and hazardous materials, and maintain required records, inspections, and reports.EducationBachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE qualification is preferred.Additional certifications such as IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor, ISO 14001, First Aid, Fire Safety, or equivalent are advantageous.ExperienceMinimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience, within a manufacturing environment.Strong experience in manufacturing safety, risk assessment, incident investigation, audits, emergency response, and HSE training.Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of industrial HSE practices and risk management.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Good knowledge of incident investigation and root-cause analysis.Strong report writing and documentation skills.Proactive approach to hazard identification and safety improvement.
