Senior HSES Tech(HSES Administrator)

Job DescriptionJob Overview:The Senior HSES Tech completes various HSES assignments as needed and can complete work with limited supervision. They are an informal resource for colleagues with less HSES experience. They provide solutions to problems in atypical or infrequently occurring situations based on existing precedents or procedures.ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Serve as a resource to develop and administer a proactive prevention program for incidents Provide technical assistance to ensure compliance with applicable international, federal, state, and company environmental, safety, and health regulationsImplement the HSES Activity plan and ensure activities are completed as scheduledAssist in the preparation of HSES Statistics ReportsConduct HSES inspections as directedAssist in the preparation and maintenance of HSES informationRegularly inspect the work areas to identify unsafe acts or conditionsAssist with incident investigations and compilation of reportsUpdate and maintain HSES database/platformAssist with medical evacuations and respond to emergencies as requiredObserve work groups and provide guidance and coaching to personnel to perform work safelyAssist in the delivery and observation of toolbox talks and Job Safety AnalysesObserve the condition of plant and equipment and report deficienciesQualificationsEssential Qualifications and Education:Diploma or equivalent certification3-4 years of relevant experienceGood oral and written communication skills Conversant with local and international HSES laws, codes, and regulations Good interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain positive team relationshipsHave experience with technical activitiesMaintain key competencies associated with the HSES function Communication and presentation skills, both written and spokenAbout UsOur ingenuity fuels daily life.
