You will act as a trusted advisor across a broad HR remit, taking the lead on complex employee relations matters, organisational change, workforce planning, talent development and employee engagement.The organisation operates across multiple locations, so this role would suit someone comfortable working within a large, multi-site environment. Regular travel will form part of the position.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR PartnershipPartner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business objectivesAdvise on workforce planning, talent, succession and organisational changeAct as a trusted advisor on complex people mattersEmployee Relations & PerformanceLead complex ER cases, including investigations, grievances and disciplinariesCoach managers on performance, development and HR best practiceEnsure employment law and internal policies are consistently appliedTalent Development & EngagementSupport talent, succession and leadership development initiativesDrive employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and retentionIdentify skills gaps and development prioritiesHR Data & Continuous ImprovementUse HR data and workforce trends to support business decisionsIdentify opportunities to improve HR policies, processes and ways of workingCollaboration & Stakeholder ManagementBuild strong relationships with senior leaders, managers and employeesCollaborate with wider HR teams to deliver joined-up people solutionsSupport wider HR projects and organisational change programmesAbout YouSignificant experience within a HR Business Partnering or senior HR advisory roleExperience within construction, infrastructure or a similar project-led environment is highly desirableExperience working across a large (2,000+), complex or multi-site organisationStrong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practiceExtensive experience managing complex employee relations mattersExperience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and talent initiativesConfidence influencing and partnering with senior stakeholdersStrong coaching, communication and relationship-building skillsComfortable using HR data and insights to inform decisionsRelevant degree or equivalent professional experienceCIPD accreditation or a similar professional HR qualification would be advantageousThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner looking to step into a broad, influential position with genuine exposure to senior stakeholders and business-wide people initiatives.You will have the opportunity to make an impact across employee relations, organisational development, engagement, talent and change, while joining an established organisation offering a competitive overall package and opportunities for continued professional development.Please apply for a confidential discussion and further information regarding the organisation, salary and wider benefits package.
