Senior Human Resources Manager Middle East- Luxury Retail

We are recruiting a Senior HR Manager for an international luxury brand that is expanding its presence across the GCC.This is a newly created role, based in Dubai, which will operate as the brand's regional headquarters. With further growth planned across the region, the business is looking for someone to take ownership of HR locally and help build the people structure around that expansion.It's a broad role. You won't be coming into a large regional HR department where every area is handled by a different specialist. We need someone comfortable being close to the business, working directly with senior management and dealing with everything from recruitment and employee relations through to policies, performance, development and the everyday realities of running HR across the region.The roleYou'll work closely with the regional leadership team and act as the main HR point of contact for the GCC business.The scope will include:Managing the day-to-day HR function across the regionPartnering with senior management on people, organisational and business decisionsSupporting the continued growth of the business and future expansion across GCC marketsLeading recruitment across both corporate and retail functionsManaging employee relations and providing practical advice to managersReviewing and developing HR policies, processes and ways of working as the organisation growsManaging performance reviews, development plans and succession discussionsSupporting managers with coaching, team structure and individual performanceOverseeing onboarding and offboarding across the businessWorking with external providers on payroll, benefits and other HR servicesEnsuring HR practices remain compliant with local employment requirements across the marketsSupporting compensation reviews, headcount planning and budgetingBuilding stronger employee engagement and communication across the organisationWorking closely with international HR teams while representing the needs of the GCC businessYou'll have 8+ years of HR experience, with a good proportion of that spent working in the Middle East.We're particularly interested in someone who:Has worked within an international luxury brand environmentHas strong UAE and wider GCC HR experienceUnderstands both retail and corporate populationsIs confident handling employee relations and advising senior managersHas recruited across a broad range of functions and seniority levelsUnderstands regional employment practices and labour legislationCan operate strategically but is equally comfortable dealing with the detailIs organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing several priorities at onceCommunicates well with people at every level of a businessDoesn't need a large HR infrastructure around them to get things doneMost importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to build something.The regional business is growing, Dubai is becoming an increasingly important hub for the brand, and this person will have the opportunity to shape how HR operates across the GCC as that growth continues.
