Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior HR Officer to join our client HR team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll management, recruitment, employee engagement, and HR systems. The candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day HR activities independently while supporting management in maintaining a positive and productive workplace.Key Responsibilities1. HR OperationsManage day-to-day HR operations and ensure smooth implementation of HR policies and procedures.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.Handle employee onboarding, transfers, promotions, confirmations, and separation processes.Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws and regulations.2. Payroll & Attendance ManagementManage and coordinate the monthly payroll process accurately and on time.Review attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, and other payroll-related information.Coordinate with Finance/Accounts for payroll processing and salary disbursement.Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and payroll information.Resolve employee queries related to salary, attendance, leave, and benefits.3. Recruitment & Talent AcquisitionHandle end-to-end recruitment activities, including manpower requisition, job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and job specifications.Maintain recruitment records and build a talent pipeline for future requirements.Support effective onboarding and induction programs for new employees.4. Employee Engagement & RelationsDevelop and coordinate employee engagement activities and initiatives.Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture.Address employee concerns and coordinate with management for appropriate resolution.Support employee communication, feedback, recognition, and welfare initiatives.Assist in organizing employee events, meetings, and engagement programs.5. HR Software & Data ManagementMaintain and manage employee information through HR software and HRIS systems.Hands-on knowledge of Tulip HR Software is preferred; experience with similar HRIS/payroll/attendance systems will also be considered.Generate HR reports related to attendance, payroll, employee records, recruitment, and other HR metrics.Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR data.6. Performance & Employee DevelopmentSupport performance appraisal and evaluation processes.Assist in identifying employee training and development needs.Coordinate training programs and maintain training records.Support employee career development and retention initiatives.Required Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.Minimum 4–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a similar role.Strong knowledge of payroll, attendance, leave management, recruitment, and HR operations.Practical knowledge of employee engagement and employee relations.Working knowledge of Tulip HR Software or similar HRIS/payroll/attendance software.Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple HR activities and deadlines.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with different departments.Preferred AttributesProactive and responsible approach to HR activities.Strong people-management and relationship-building skills.Good understanding of HR best practices and labor regulations.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and reporting skills.Professional attitude with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
