Its vision is to blend modern design with regional traditions, providing solutions that are “Inspired by Tradition” and tailored to diverse project needs.Role Description The Senior HVAC Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for leading the design and development of HVAC systems for tent and fabric shade structures. This position involves performing load calculations, designing HVAC layouts, and coordinating closely with project managers, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant designs. The engineer will prepare detailed drawings and specifications, review and approve technical submittals, and support installation teams with design clarifications. Daily tasks include evaluating project requirements, selecting appropriate equipment, optimizing energy efficiency, and ensuring designs meet local codes and industry standards. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, contributing to continuous improvement of design processes, and supporting technical proposals for new projects.QualificationsStrong proficiency in HVAC Design and HVAC system configuration for commercial, industrial, or specialized structures.Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering, including relevant degree and experience in building services or industrial applications.Ability to perform precise engineering Calculations, including heat load, ventilation rates, and equipment sizing.Working knowledge of Plumbing systems related to HVAC projects, such as chilled water, condensate drainage, and related piping layouts.Experience with CAD or BIM tools for HVAC design and documentation.Familiarity with applicable local and international codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, mechanical building codes).Proven experience in leading projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing multiple deadlines.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.Previous experience in tent structures, temporary buildings, or fabric architecture is an advantage.Professional certifications or memberships in engineering bodies are considered beneficial.
