Our products are used by millions of consumers worldwide, and we're expanding our design footprint in the United States.The OpportunityYou will be the creative architect of our next-generation product roadmap, transforming complex thermal engineering into elegant, iconic tools that millions of people will use to define their personal style. This role is based on-site at our Glendale, CA office, five days a week — you will work shoulder-to-shoulder with the US operations team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. If you're looking for a remote or hybrid position, this is not the role for you.Key ResponsibilitiesVisionary Product Delivery: Own the full Industrial Design (ID) process for next-generation product lines — from high-energy sketching and 3D modeling to physical prototype reviews and final production handoff.Design for the "Vanity": Build a serialized, cohesive brand language. Ensure every product delivers an "unboxing" level of emotional value, balancing high-end aesthetics with professional-grade performance.Deep Audience Empathy: Research how US consumers interact with beauty tech — ergonomics, compact form factors, and overall styling convenience.Global Design Liaison: Act as the vital link between our US design vision and our China-based R&D team, ensuring design integrity survives the engineering phase.Defensive Innovation (IP): Partner with global IP teams to identify patent opportunities and build competitive moats.CMF & Material Leadership: Lead exploration of new materials, heat-resistant coatings, and surface treatments (CMF) so products are as durable as they are beautiful.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Design or Product Design, with a portfolio demonstrating a sophisticated, premium aesthetic5+ years of hands-on experience in consumer electronics or personal care, with a proven track record of shipping products to market (3C / smart hardware experience a strong plus)Deep understanding of US online and offline retail trends — you know what makes a product "pop" on a digital shelf as well as in-storeExpert proficiency in Rhino, KeyShot, and Adobe Creative SuiteDeep understanding of manufacturing processes and designing for scalability at volumePreferred QualificationsRecognition from prestigious design bodies such as Red Dot, iF Design, or IDEADemonstrated success collaborating with teams in China or other international R&D hubsGenuine passion for beauty trends — you intuitively understand the difference between a tool that simply "works" and one people love to use
