The role is extremely diverse, offers a fast-paced environment and an opportunity to work across variously developed systems and controls. You will need to be based at a commutable distance to the Hamburg office as you will need to come into the office 1 to 2 x per week and travel around 20% of the year across European locations.As part of the Internal Audit team, you'll work closely with stakeholders across multiple countries, providing independent assurance over IT systems, cybersecurity, digital transformation initiatives, and technology controls. You will report directly to the Head of IT Audit and support them in the audit plan. You will have support, however, the role requires a high level of independence and confidence and comfort in working across multiple projects at the same time.Job scope:Planning and delivering IT audit engagements across all operations across the Group.Assessing IT governance, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud environments, applications, and IT general controls.Identifying risks and recommending practical improvements to strengthen control frameworks.Writing the audit report after your findings and presenting to stakeholders with the support of senior management.Building strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders across Europe.Supporting the delivery of a modern, value-adding Internal Audit function.Experience required:• 5–7 years' experience in IT Audit (internal or external audit), IT Risk, Information Security, or a related field. Candidates from the Big 4/Top 10 Accounting firms are welcome as well as those who already have some industry experience.• A good understanding of IT General Controls (ITGCs), ITACs, cybersecurity, and technology risk. Extremely important to show understanding of risks.• Experience with audit methodologies and risk-based auditing.• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC (or currently working towards them) would be an advantage.• Fluency in English. German language skills are beneficial but not essential.If you have experience in SAP that is a bonus.
