Learners can access training at their own pace, primarily online, with a focus on skills that employers and clients value.Role Description The Senior Instructor will lead the delivery of in-person training programs, mentor learners, and ensure high-quality teaching standards in UPCO Nigeria’s Lagos training center. In this full-time, on-site role in Lagos, the Senior Instructor will design and update course materials, prepare lesson plans, and facilitate interactive classes and workshops. The role includes assessing learner performance, providing feedback and coaching, and adapting teaching methods to diverse learning styles. The Senior Instructor will collaborate with the curriculum and operations teams to improve training content, integrate industry best practices, and support outreach activities such as info sessions or demo classes.Qualifications Strong instructional design and teaching skills, including experience delivering structured training programs or workshops.Demonstrated expertise in at least one relevant domain (e.g., digital marketing, IT, business tools, or related digital skills) and ability to break down complex topics into clear, practical lessons.Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation abilities, with a learner-centered and inclusive approach.Experience mentoring or coaching learners, providing constructive feedback, and supporting different learning paces and backgrounds.Comfort with using online learning platforms, productivity tools, and basic data tracking to monitor learner progress.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Education, Business, IT, Communications) or equivalent professional experience.Prior experience in a training, teaching, or learning and development role, ideally within a technical, digital, or vocational training environment.Ability to work on-site in Lagos full-time, manage multiple classes or cohorts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
