Senior Instrumentation Technician

Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, test, calibrate, maintain and repair instrumentation and control equipment.Troubleshoot faults in sensors, transmitters, controllers, control valves and associated systems.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation assets.Conduct routine inspections across treatment plants, pumping stations and distribution facilities.Use calibration, diagnostic and testing equipment for fault finding.Respond to breakdowns and restore equipment with minimum downtime.Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.Maintain calibration, maintenance and fault records.Prepare technical reports and follow HSE/safety requirements.Provide technical guidance to junior technicians when required.RequirementsHigh School/Technical Diploma in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.Hands-on experience in instrumentation and control maintenance.Experience in water treatment, desalination, pumping stations or utilities preferred.Strong calibration, troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
