Senior Instrumentation Technician – Water / UtilitiesWe are hiring an experienced Senior Instrumentation Technician for a utilities/water operations environment in the UAE.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, test, calibrate, maintain and repair instrumentation and control equipment.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instruments used in water treatment, desalination, pumping and distribution facilities.Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system faults and equipment breakdowns.Work with sensors, transmitters, controllers, control valves and associated instrumentation.Perform calibration using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.Read and interpret instrumentation diagrams, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.Conduct routine equipment inspections and respond to breakdowns/emergencies.Maintain calibration, maintenance and technical records.Ensure compliance with HSE and technical procedures.Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians when required.RequirementsHigh School/Technical Diploma in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.Relevant hands-on experience in Instrumentation & Control maintenance.Strong experience in calibration, troubleshooting, testing and fault finding.Experience with sensors, transmitters, control valves and controllers.Experience within water treatment, desalination, pumping stations or water distribution is highly preferred.Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance.
