Senior Integration Engineer

About the RoleCargosrate is a B2B digital freight platform connecting enterprises with airlines, ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and international logistics partners.We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a full-time, on-site basis, with ownership of the integrations that connect Cargosrate with global logistics networks and enterprise systems.This is a hands-on engineering role with end-to-end ownership, from technical discovery and API assessment to sandbox testing, certification, production go-live, and operational reliability.What You Will OwnIntegrate Cargosrate with airlines and air cargo systems for rates, schedules, bookings, tracking, and shipment data.Build integrations with shipping lines, ocean carriers, and their digital platforms.Connect with freight forwarders, overseas agents, and logistics service providers.Integrate Cargosrate with enterprise customers running SAP, Oracle ERP, and other enterprise systems.Design and operate integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, Webhooks, OAuth 2.0, JSON/XML, messaging, and queues.Own the full integration lifecycle: Technical Discovery → Mapping → Sandbox Testing → Certification → Production Go-Live.Build production-grade reliability through monitoring, logging, retries, idempotency, error handling, alerting, and RCA.Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across multiple external systems and partners.Requirements7+ years of hands-on experience in Integration Engineering, Middleware, Backend Systems, or API Engineering.Strong experience building and operating enterprise-grade APIs and system integrations.Proven experience integrating with SAP and/or Oracle.Strong understanding of asynchronous integrations, distributed systems, authentication, security, and production reliability.Ability to independently own complex integrations from technical assessment through production go-live.Preferred ExperienceExperience in logistics, airlines, air cargo, shipping, freight tech, supply chain platforms, or B2B marketplaces is highly preferred.We are looking for an engineer who has built integrations that support real business operations at production scale not just APIs that work in a test environment.
