Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage interior design projects from concept through completion. Develop creative concepts, presentations, mood boards, material selections, and design proposals. Prepare and review detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors. Conduct site surveys, site inspections, and resolve design and technical issues on site. Review materials, samples, quotations, and costs to ensure alignment with project budgets. Lead project teams, manage resources, and support project delivery within program and quality expectations. Mentor and guide designers, sharing technical and design knowledge. Maintain KZC’s high standards of design quality, professionalism, service, and values. Lead by example and ensure the team are providing a professional level of service and consistently exhibiting Kristina Zanic Consultants Service Standards and Values

Qualifications

10+ years of overall interior design experience. Approximately 8 years in a similar Senior Interior Designer role. Minimum 5 years of regional experience. Mandatory site experience with strong knowledge of site coordination and project delivery. Strong experience across hospitality, residential, retail, workplace, and leisure projects. Excellent design, technical, documentation, and project coordination skills. Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E, specifications, budgets, and suppliers. Ability to lead projects and mentor junior designers. Strong communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Proficiency in relevant design and CAD software.
