Senior Interior / FF&E Designer - Dubai based - Residential / High End Projects

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior Interior / FF&E Designer to join a leading interior design company based in Dubai.The successful candidate will play a key role in developing high-end interior concepts, selecting and specifying FF&E, managing design packages and ensuring projects are delivered to a high creative and technical standard.This role requires a strong design eye, excellent knowledge of materials and finishes, and the ability to work across multiple projects from concept through to final installation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of interior design concepts from initial brief through to completionCreate mood boards, material palettes, furniture concepts and presentation packagesManage and develop FF&E specifications, schedules and procurement selectionsSource furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, accessories and bespoke itemsCoordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and procurement teamsPrepare detailed design documentation and presentation materialDevelop layouts, furniture plans and design schemesReview samples, finishes, materials and product specificationsManage design quality and ensure consistency with the overall project conceptWork closely with architects, interior designers, technical teams and project managersAttend client presentations and confidently communicate design conceptsLiaise with contractors, consultants and suppliers during project deliveryReview shop drawings, technical submissions and material approvals where requiredSupport site inspections and installation to ensure design intent is maintainedMentor junior designers and support the wider design teamManage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced design environmentCandidate RequirementsDegree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related disciplineStrong experience in Interior Design and FF&EPrevious experience in a senior design positionStrong portfolio demonstrating high-end residential, hospitality or luxury interior projectsExcellent knowledge of furniture, lighting, materials, finishes and suppliersStrong understanding of design development and project deliveryExperience producing FF&E schedules and specification packagesConfident presenting concepts to clients and senior stakeholdersStrong AutoCAD skillsProficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteKnowledge of SketchUp, 3D software or other design platforms would be advantageousStrong attention to detail and excellent visual awarenessAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesExcellent communication and organisational skillssalary budget: 20-25,000 AED per month + visa + medical + flights Please send CV's to david@therigrecruitment.com and portfolios.
