Apply & track with Apply EdgePrimary Purpose:Lead and manage international procurement activities and the day-to-day operations related to sourcing goods and materials from international suppliers. The role is responsible for developing and executing international procurement strategies, analyzing global market trends, identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and commercial terms, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective, timely, and reliable supply.The position requires a strong procurement professional with excellent negotiation and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with international suppliers and internal stakeholders.Key Accountabilities:Develop and implement international procurement strategies and sourcing plans to ensure the optimum procurement of goods and materials.Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with international suppliers and vendors.Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions with international suppliers to secure favorable commercial terms.Develop and maintain a database of approved and preferred international suppliers.Monitor global market trends, pricing, availability, and supply conditions to identify sourcing opportunities and potential risks.Develop and implement procurement procedures and systems to ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing activities.Coordinate with internal departments, including Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, Logistics, and Operations, to ensure smooth international procurement processes.Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and reliability, and take corrective actions when required.Analyze procurement costs and market conditions to identify cost-saving and value-improvement opportunities.Coordinate with logistics and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of international orders and materials.Identify potential international supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply risks.Evaluate suppliers based on reliability, quality, pricing, capacity, lead time, and overall cost-effectiveness.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and applicable international purchasing requirements.Utilize procurement and inventory management systems, including ASCON, to monitor purchase orders, supplier information, pricing, and procurement activities.Analyze purchasing requirements, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and market trends to support effective international sourcing decisions.Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the direct manager.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.7+ years of experience in international procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a similar role, preferably within a multinational or manufacturing environment.Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.In-depth knowledge of international procurement principles, policies, and best practices.Strong knowledge of international sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing processes.Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.Strong ability to analyze market trends, pricing, supplier performance, and procurement costs.Ability to manage and negotiate with international suppliers and vendors.Proficiency in procurement software and tools, particularly ASCON.Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory requirements, and international purchasing activities.
