Senior Investment Analyst

Requirements3–5 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, developer business development, real estate credit, or property capital markets/valuation.Strong hands-on experience in financial modelling, including development and income-asset models, sensitivities and debt sizing.Experience preparing investment or credit papers for senior decision-makers.Strong written English and independent judgement.Willingness to relocate to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and travel across African marketsWhat we are looking for Three to five years of experience in real estate investment, REIT or asset management, real estate credit, developer investment or business development, property capital markets, valuation or transaction advisory.Hands-on experience building underwriting or feasibility models for live transactions, and preparing investment or credit papers for senior decision-makers.Strong financial modelling: development and income-asset models, debt sizing and scenario analysis, built to be clear, structured and auditable. Exposure to joint-venture waterfalls is an advantage.Familiarity with transaction documentation, land title and due diligence processes.Exposure to emerging or frontier markets, or to currency, title or regulatory risk, is an advantage.A strong academic background in finance, economics, real estate, engineering, architecture or a related discipline. Progress towards a CFA, MBA, MRICS or equivalent qualification is an advantage.Clear written English and the ability to turn complex analysis into a short, decision-useful recommendation.Independent judgement and the willingness to disagree on the record, respectfully and with evidence.High integrity, humility and ownership, and comfort operating without the support structures of a large institution.Interested candidates can reach out to kinjal@upman.in
