About the RoleMars Renewable is scaling rapidly, with a growing portfolio of utility-scale energy storage projects and an active pipeline of asset transactions and capital markets initiatives. We are seeking a Senior Investment Manager to serve as a key member of the COO's leadership team, driving end-to-end execution across asset valuation, M&A transactions, equity financing, and IPO readiness.This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to the full spectrum of corporate development activities. We welcome candidates from two professional backgrounds: Finance/Investment or Law (US LLM/JD with Red Circle or international firm M&A experience).3. Four core areas you will ownEnd-to-end financial modeling and asset valuation for utility-scale BESS projectsPackage Transactions — Execute M&A and portfolio transactions end to end, from deal structuring and due diligence through commercial negotiation and closing.IPO Planning — Drive pre-IPO preparation 1–2 years out, including cap table structuring, compliance framework, and regulatory filing coordination.Equity financing — investor relations, deal materials, valuation, and due diligence coordination4. Key ResponsibilitiesPlant Asset Valuation: Build and maintain comprehensive financial models for energy storage plant projects, including revenue projections (IRR, NPV, DSCR), cost structure analysis, and multi-scenario sensitivity testing. Benchmark feasibility assumptions against operational performance to deliver data-driven investment recommendations to leadership and the investment committee.Asset Package Transactions: Lead and execute M&A transactions for energy storage asset portfolios across the full deal lifecycle — deal structuring (Development Service Agreements, Joint Development Agreements), due diligence coordination across financial, legal, and technical workstreams, commercial negotiation, and post-close integration and revenue management.Equity Financing: Serve as the primary interface between company leadership and external capital providers — including IPPs, global infrastructure funds, and FAs. Own the preparation of financing materials (pitch decks, virtual data rooms, financial models), build and defend valuation frameworks, coordinate investor due diligence, and drive transactions to successful close.IPO Planning: Play a central role in the company's 1–2 year pre-IPO preparation, including cap table optimization, compliance and governance framework development, regulatory filing coordination, and engagement with capital markets advisors and underwriters.5. QualificationsEducation: Overseas study background required. Either of the following two tracks:Finance/Investment track: Bachelor's degree or above from a recognized university (QS/U.S. News top-ranked overseas institutions preferred), major in Finance, Investment, or related field.Law track: US LLM or JD degree (or equivalent overseas law school LLM/JD).Experience3–5+ years of professional experience.Finance/Investment track: Background in real estate or new energy sectors preferred.
