The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for the iOS platform, ensuring optimal performance and seamless user experience. Responsibilities also include collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues, and staying updated with the latest iOS trends and technologies to consistently enhance application functionality.iOS Application DevelopmentDesign and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance native iOS applications.Implement advanced UI/UX using UIKit, SwiftUI, Storyboards, and Auto Layout.Optimize applications for performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.Architecture & FrameworksDefine and implement mobile architecture patterns such as MVC, MVP, MVVM, VIPER, and Clean Architecture.Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets for real-time communication.Implement local data storage using Core Data, Realm, and SQLite.Advanced FeaturesImplement push notifications, background tasks, and offline-first capabilities.Use Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Metal for advanced UI and graphics.Integrate with Apple frameworks such as ARKit, Core ML, HealthKit, MapKit, and AVFoundation.Deployment & DevOpsManage app releases via App Store Connect and TestFlight.Automate build and deployment pipelines using tools like Fastlane, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.Monitor app performance and crashes using tools such as Firebase, Sentry, and New Relic, and drive continuous improvement.Collaboration & LeadershipCollaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features end to end.Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and enforce coding best practices.Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to product and architecture roadmaps.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience & Education8+ years of hands-on native iOS application development experience using Objective-C and Swift.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of iOS SDK, Xcode, Cocoa frameworks, and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.Proven experience in UI/UX development using Storyboards, UIKit, and SwiftUI.Strong understanding of architectural patterns: MVC, MVP, and MVVM (experience with VIPER/Clean Architecture is a plus).Experience integrating RESTful APIs and client–server programming.Hands-on experience with SQLite, Core Data, Realm, GCD, multithreading, and performance tuning.Knowledge of the open-source iOS ecosystem and commonly used libraries.Experience with dependency managers such as CocoaPods, Carthage, and Swift Package Manager.Proficient with code versioning tools such as SVN and Git.Strong knowledge of native and third-party unit testing frameworks.Familiarity with continuous integration and mobile CI/CD pipelines.Experience with cloud integrations and services (e.g., Firebase, AWS, Azure).Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.Proven ability to lead projects, take ownership, and mentor team members.If you share the seniority level, location, and employment type (onsite/remote/hybrid, full-time/contract), I can add a short “About the Role” and “Benefits” section tailored for your company.QualificationsStrong expertise in Mobile Application Development and iOS DevelopmentComprehensive knowledge of building Mobile Applications using modern practices and toolsExperience in Software Development with a focus on the iOS platformProficiency in programming languages like Swift and Objective-CFamiliarity with Apple's design principles, interface guidelines, and best practicesStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize applicationsTeam collaboration and communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
