responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimising modern, secure, scalable, high-performance native iOS applications across company products.The role includes iOS application architecture, Swift development, SwiftUI and UIKit implementation, API integration, performance optimisation, application security, testing, and App Store deployment.A key requirement is strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently develop complete, production-ready iOS applications while maintaining high standards of code quality, stability, performance, and user experience.The successful candidate must demonstrate senior-level iOS expertise, ownership of mobile application architecture, and exceptional attention to detail when implementing UI/UX designs and resolving complex technical issues.Main ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, maintain, and optimise native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.Take ownership of iOS development from architecture and planning to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Develop secure, scalable, maintainable, and well-structured mobile application architectures.Build complex functionality including authentication, user profiles, dashboards, subscriptions, notifications, and interactive workflows.Translate Figma designs and UI/UX specifications into accurate, responsive, and fully functional native interfaces.Ensure exceptional frontend consistency and pixel-perfect implementation of approved designs.Pay close attention to spacing, alignment, typography, colours, icons, animations, transitions, and component consistency.Develop reusable UI components and maintain consistent design patterns across applications.Implement smooth navigation, gestures, animations, transitions, and interactive experiences.Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.Implement secure authentication, authorisation, session management, and token handling.Handle API responses, asynchronous operations, loading states, errors, and network failures.Implement local data storage, caching, offline functionality, and background processing.Develop and maintain push notifications, deep linking, and universal links.Integrate third-party SDKs, analytics, payment services, and external APIs.Implement StoreKit, in-app purchases, and subscription functionality where required.Optimise application performance, memory consumption, battery usage, startup time, and responsiveness.Identify and resolve memory leaks, crashes, threading issues, performance bottlenecks, and unexpected application behaviour.Ensure compatibility across supported iPhone and iPad models, screen sizes, and iOS versions.Follow Apple Human Interface Guidelines, accessibility standards, and native iOS best practices.Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code following modern engineering principles.Develop and maintain unit tests, UI tests, and automated testing solutions.Debug applications using Xcode, Instruments, crash reports, and profiling tools.Manage application signing, provisioning profiles, certificates, and build configurations.Prepare and manage TestFlight releases, App Store submissions, and application updates.Investigate App Store review issues and ensure compliance with Apple's policies.Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product teams.Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, task estimation, and solution planning.Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and improve iOS development standards.Support production monitoring, troubleshooting, releases, and ongoing application improvements.Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years of professional iOS development experience, including production-level native applications.Advanced proficiency in Swift, including protocols, generics, extensions, modern language features, and memory management.Strong professional experience with SwiftUI and UIKit, including complex application development.Advanced understanding of iOS SDK, Xcode, application lifecycle, navigation, and native iOS frameworks.Strong experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar maintainable application architectures.Excellent understanding of OOP, protocol-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.Strong experience implementing pixel-perfect interfaces from Figma and UI/UX designs.Exceptional attention to detail and an “Eagle Eye” for small UI inconsistencies, visual defects, and unexpected behaviours.Strong knowledge of Auto Layout, adaptive layouts, safe areas, and different iOS screen sizes.Experience implementing complex navigation flows, reusable components, animations, and interactions.Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP requests, and backend services.Advanced knowledge of Swift Concurrency (async/await), GCD, and multithreading.Strong understanding of ARC, retain cycles, weak references, and memory leak prevention.Experience with URLSession, Codable, and asynchronous networking.Experience with Core Data, SwiftData, UserDefaults, Keychain, or similar local storage solutions.Strong experience implementing secure authentication, token management, and protected application functionality.Understanding of application security, sensitive data protection, and secure local storage.Experience implementing push notifications using APNs or Firebase Cloud Messaging.Experience with deep links, universal links, and background application behaviour.Experience integrating libraries and SDKs using Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods.Strong knowledge of application performance optimisation, memory profiling, and frameworks.Strong experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows.Experience managing certificates, provisioning profiles, code signing, and
