Senior Irrigation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Irrigation Engineer to lead the design, planning, and optimization of irrigation systems for large-scale landscaping and infrastructure projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive efficient and sustainable irrigation solutions from concept through execution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of advanced irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, subsurface) for complex projectsPerform and review hydraulic calculations, including pipe sizing, pressure zoning, and system optimizationOversee preparation of irrigation layouts, detailed drawings, and design documentationReview and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specificationsCoordinate closely with landscape architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integrationManage design coordination meetings and resolve multidisciplinary clashesEnsure compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and sustainability standardsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designersSupport project teams during tendering, estimation, and value engineering stagesEvaluate new technologies, materials, and suppliers to improve system efficiency and cost-effectivenessConduct site visits to support installation, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systemsIdentify risks and propose technical solutions to ensure timely project deliveryRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or related field8–12 years of experience in irrigation design, preferably within landscaping projectsStrong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and RainCADProven experience in large-scale landscape or infrastructure projectsExperience in GCC projects is a strong advantage
