SENIOR ISLAND GUIDELuxury Island Resort • Seychelles • USD $1,200 gross per monthABOUT THE ROLEWe are searching for a Senior Island Guide for a luxury island resort in the Seychelles. This is a highly personalized, guest-facing role, unlike a traditional butler or concierge position. The Senior Island Guide combines intuitive hosting, destination storytelling, excursion coordination, and operational oversight to craft a seamless and deeply memorable experience for each guest throughout their stay.WHAT YOU'LL DOServe as the primary point of contact for guests from arrival to departure, delivering warm, discreet, and anticipatory serviceWelcome guests upon arrival and provide a personalized island orientationOrganize and coordinate all guest activities and excursions, including snorkeling, diving, fishing, spa bookings, private dining, and wellness experiencesAccompany guests during selected activities and foster meaningful connections with the destination, nature, and local cultureCoordinate with Housekeeping to ensure villa presentation, amenities, minibar, and special requests meet guest expectations at all timesConduct regular villa checks and follow up on maintenance matters to ensure timely resolutionMaintain accurate guest notes, daily logs, and handover reports to ensure continuity of servicePromote resort experiences and upsell services in line with individual guest preferencesWHAT YOU BRINGPrevious experience in a lodge, remote luxury island, or similar high-end guest-facing environmentFluent in English plus at least 2 additional languages such as French, German, Italian, Russian, or ArabicWarm, professional demeanour with exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitalityStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple guest requests simultaneouslyAbility to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all timesRequires an outgoing, engaging, and guest-focused personalityCertification in diving, tour guiding, or lodge operations is a strong advantagePre-opening experience is an advantageFluency in English is required; additional languages would be advantageousComfortable with the demands of a 24/7 luxury resort operation, including shifts, weekends, and holidaysWHAT'S OFFEREDUSD $1,200 gross per monthOpportunity to be part of a pre-opening luxury island resort team in the Seychelles
