Senior IT Business Analyst - Intraday Liquidity Management

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team supporting an Intraday Liquidity Management System, which enables bank-wide intraday cash projections, liquidity monitoring, and reporting.The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in Liquidity Management, Financial Markets, Payments, or Cash Management, combined with excellent analytical, functional, and technical skills. The candidate should be comfortable working across business, technology, vendor, and change-management teams in a complex banking environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand, scope, and document requirements and propose feasible solutions aligned with business objectivesWork closely with Technology, Vendors, Business, and Change teams to understand end-to-end system architecture, implementation, integrations, and liquidity processesPerform data analysis on large datasets to identify business impacts, data gaps, and technology-change requirementsPrepare detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, process flows, and solution designsPresent solution designs, functional requirements, and system architectures clearly to technical and senior business stakeholdersDefine cost-effective technology solutions that meet business requirements and comply with applicable banking regulations and regulatory standardsSupport all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, testing strategy, data migration, implementation, release planning, and post-production supportDrive simplified, consolidated, and scalable technology and integration architecturesIdentify dependencies, risks, impacts, and opportunities for process and technology improvementsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key business, technology, vendor, and senior management stakeholdersProvide clear, concise, and timely communication on project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisionsWork independently in complex environments involving multiple systems, teams, and dependenciesRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Business Analyst / System Analyst / IT Business Analyst within Liquidity, Financial Markets, Payments, Cash Management, or BankingStrong understanding of Intraday Liquidity Management and cash-flow/liquidity processesGood knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and global liquidity regulatory mandatesStrong experience in data sourcing, data mapping, data lineage, and integration across multiple upstream/downstream data frameworksExperience working with large-scale system upgrades, transformation, re-engineering, and technology migration initiativesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience handling large datasetsAbility to translate complex business requirements into clear functional and technical specificationsStrong stakeholder-management and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver outcomes in complex banking environmentsTechnical SkillsSQL / PL-SQL - hands-on experienceUnix/Linux and shell scriptingData analysis and data reconciliationKnowledge of Enterprise Technology tools and platformsUnderstanding of system integrations, data flows, APIs, and enterprise architectureExperience supporting testing, data migration, implementation, and production releasesDesirable SkillsWorking knowledge or experience with SAP LMS / SAP Liquidity ManagementExposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)Experience with automation tools and automation-driven process improvementsKnowledge of data visualization / BI toolsPrevious experience as a Software Developer is an advantageExposure to banking platforms, payment systems, treasury, or financial-market applications
