Senior IT Cloud Security Engineer

Candidates based in Egypt and Jordan are welcome to Apply.Role purpose:To design, implement, and manage the organization’s end-to-end security posture across AWS and Azure cloud environments, endpoints, data, communications, and systems. The role ensures Zero Trust principles are applied across all layers identity, access, data, and infrastructure and leads SecOps and SOC operations to protect against cyber threats, ensure compliance, and maintain operational resilience.Key responsibilities:Cloud & SecurityDesign and secure AWS and Azure cloud environments.Manage cloud security, access, networks, and infrastructure.Apply security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.Microsoft & IdentityManage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server.Implement MFA, Conditional Access, and secure user access.IT InfrastructureManage Windows/Linux systems, backups, patching, monitoring, and security.Support firewalls, networks, and other on-premise infrastructure.Automation & DevSecOpsManage CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.Apply security controls to applications, containers, and deployments.SOC & Incident ResponseMonitor security alerts and respond to incidents.Investigate vulnerabilities and security issues.Risk & ComplianceConduct security assessments and manage risks.Maintain security documentation and Disaster Recovery plans.Ensure compliance and continuous security improvement.Required qualifications & experience:·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field·      9+ years of IT and security experience, with at least 5 years in multi-cloud (AWS and Azure) security.Skills:·      Cloud security architecture (AWS)·      M365, Azure Entra, O365 Security·      Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).·      Vulnerability management & DevSecOpsCertifications:·      CISSP or CCSP (required)·      AWS Certified Security – Specialty (preferred)·      Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert or Azure Security Engineer Associate (preferred)·      ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Zero Trust Certified Architect (advantage)·      ITIL Foundation (preferred)
