Senior / IT Engineer, Fab Support

Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior / IT Engineer to support the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Shop Floor Automation (SFA) applications in a high-technology manufacturing environment. The role will provide 24/7 Level 1 & 2 support for production lines and support the development and deployment of Equipment Manager automation solutions.Mandatory Skill-setBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent with relevant experience;Mush have hands-on experience in Shop Floor Automation (SFA) applications and production system support;Experience in application maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancement, and deployment;Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases;Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team;Willingness to support 24/7 Level 1 & 2 production operations.Desired Skill-setExperience with MES, TIB/RV, SECS, or Tibco;Experience in ZNT PAC development;Exposure to fab automation projects and CIM products such as SPC, RMS, and MES;Experience in a high-technology manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, maintain, and continuously improve assigned Shop Floor Automation (SFA) applications and components;Provide 24/7 Level 1 & 2 support to ensure the proper operation and availability of production lines;Troubleshoot system issues and work with other IT teams to improve system response time and availability;Gather requirements and design, develop, and deploy new versions and enhancements of SFA applications, particularly Equipment Manager automation solutions;Document requirements and coordinate application enhancements within the assigned area;Plan, coordinate, and conduct training for assigned applications;Collaborate with other sections and departments on productivity enhancement, error and cost reduction, and other improvement initiatives.Should you be interested in this career opportunity, please send in your updated resume to apply@sciente.com at the earliest.When you apply, you voluntarily consent to the disclosure, collection and use of your personal data for employment/recruitment and related purposes in accordance with the SCIENTE Group Privacy Policy, a copy of which is published at SCIENTE’s website (https://www.sciente.com/privacy-policy).Confidentiality is assured, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews.EA License No. 07C5639
