Purpose of the Role:The Senior IT Manager will have complete end-to-end ownership of the entire IT function across the Company.This is a highly hands-on role with responsibility for all IT-related matters, from the smallest day-to-day requirement to the largest and most critical technology initiative.The Senior IT Manager will be responsible for the complete IT environment, covering infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, user support, procurement, vendor management, compliance, business continuity and all other technology-related requirements.The role requires full ownership and accountability. Whether the requirement is operational, technical, commercial, security-related or compliance-related, the Senior IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring that it is properly addressed and completed.Key Responsibilities :Complete IT OwnershipTake complete end-to-end ownership of all IT matters across the Company.Act as the single point of responsibility and accountability for the entire IT function.Manage IT requirements of every scale, from routine operational issues to major technology projects.Ensure every IT matter is followed through to completion, whether handled directly or through an external service provider.Proactively identify and address IT requirements, risks and issues before they affect business operations. IT Infrastructure & OperationsTake full responsibility for the Company’s IT infrastructure, networks, connectivity and workplace technology.Ensure the IT environment is properly set up, organised, maintained, upgraded and fully operational.Manage technology requirements for offices, workstations, meeting rooms and communication systems.Plan and execute new IT setups, expansions, relocations and upgrades.Hardware, Software & Business SystemsOwn the complete lifecycle of the Company’s hardware, software and business systems, from requirement and installation through maintenance, upgrades, replacement and disposal.Manage Microsoft 365 and other business-critical applications, including administration, access, licensing and support.Ensure systems are properly maintained, updated, secured and licensed.Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, warranties and system information.Cybersecurity & Data ProtectionTake full ownership of the Company’s cybersecurity and information protection.Implement and maintain appropriate security controls, access management and preventive measures.Proactively identify cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities and take corrective action.Manage cybersecurity incidents through investigation, resolution and prevention of recurrence.Ensure appropriate cybersecurity awareness and practices across the Company.IT Governance & ComplianceOwn all IT-related policies, procedures, documentation, governance and compliance requirements.Ensure IT practices meet applicable regulatory, audit, data-protection and internal requirements.Maintain appropriate controls over access to confidential, commercial, financial and employee information.Support IT-related audits, reviews and certifications as required.Procurement & Vendor ManagementTake complete ownership of all IT procurement, from identifying requirements and evaluating solutions through purchasing, installation and implementation.Manage IT vendors and service providers, including selection, quotations, negotiations, contracts, renewals, performance and costs.Ensure vendors are held accountable for agreed service levels.Ensure technology purchases are appropriate, cost-effective and aligned with business requirements.Maintain sufficient hands-on capability so that routine IT matters are not unnecessarily dependent on external vendors.Business Continuity & BackupsTake full responsibility for backup, recovery and IT business-continuity arrangements.Ensure critical business information and systems are properly protected and recoverable.Regularly review and test backup and recovery arrangements.Ensure appropriate plans are in place to minimise disruption from system failures, cyber incidents or data loss.End-User & Workplace ITEnsure timely and effective IT support across the Company.Take ownership of employee technology issues and ensure they are properly resolved.Ensure meeting rooms and workplace technology are maintained and ready for use.Manage all IT aspects of employee onboarding, transfers and offboarding.Ensure employees have the appropriate equipment, systems and access required to perform their roles.IT Planning, Budget & ImprovementTake ownership of IT planning and budgeting.Anticipate future technology requirements and recommend appropriate investments and improvements.Monitor and control IT expenditure.Continuously improve the reliability, security and efficiency of the Company’s IT environment.Keep management informed of significant IT risks, issues, requirements and expenditure.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.Relevant professional certifications in networking, cybersecurity, Microsoft technologies or infrastructure are preferred.Minimum 7–10 years of hands-on IT experience, with at least 3 years in a senior IT management or leadership role.Proven experience independently managing the complete IT environment of an organisation.Strong practical experience across IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity and end-user support.Experience managing IT procurement, vendors, contracts, licensing and technology budgets.Experience with backup, disaster recovery, IT governance and compliance requirements.Experience supporting business applications such as ERP, accounting, HR or similar systems.Experience supporting an organisation of approximately 50–150 employees is preferred.Key Skills & AttributesStrong ownership and
