Senior IT Project ManagerYour new company You will be joining an established eCommerce organisation that is strengthening its project management capabilities to support strategic technology and business initiatives. Your new role As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of complex technology and business projects. You will ensure that each project is delivered within the agreed scope, timeline, budget and quality requirements while remaining aligned with wider organisational objectives.You will develop and govern comprehensive project plans, manage budgets and resources, oversee application deployments, and proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and clients, you will communicate project progress, facilitate status meetings and escalate potential challenges when required.The role will also involve providing technical and operational guidance, coordinating the integration of application components, and supporting the resolution of production issues to maintain business continuity. What you'll need to succeed A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Project Management or a related disciplineA minimum of 15 years' project management experience, including the end-to-end delivery of technology or business projectsAt least 7 to 10 years' senior-level experience leading teams, managing stakeholders and overseeing project deliveryStrong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologiesProven experience across project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk management and stakeholder reportingHands-on knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project or equivalent platformsA strong understanding of IT systems, application deployment, production support and operational software environmentsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and business information for clients, senior stakeholders and delivery teamsProfessional certification in project management, Agile, programme management or portfolio management would be advantageousAdditional knowledge of system integration, software design, database structures, UI design, accessibility standards, security compliance or governance would be beneficial.
