Apply & track with Apply EdgeAs part of the global Scientific Games Group www.scientificgames.com Scientific Games International GmbH inVienna- the largest provider in Europe - develops and manages systems for more than 20 state lotteries in Europe,North America, Asia and Oceania.To support our Team in Vienna, we have an immediate opening for aSenior Project Manager (f/m/d)Tasks & Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end project delivery across markets, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation in line with agreed governance frameworksOwn project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance reporting, ensuring projects are delivered within approved budgetsBuild and maintain strong working relationships with government and state lottery client stakeholders at both technical and executive levels, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the project lifecycleProvide clear, structured progress reporting to internal leadership and clients, including risk and issue escalation, milestone tracking, and executive-level status updatesTranslate complex technical requirements into actionable project plans, working closely with engineering and operations teams to define feasible, long-term delivery approachesDevelop a thorough understanding of product and solution requirements — including deployment environments, performance criteria, integration constraints, and end-user considerations — to ensure delivery outcomes meet client expectationsMaintain current knowledge of relevant technologies, industry standards, and regulatory developments within the lottery and gaming sector to inform sound project decision-making
Requirements
Background studies in IT desiredA minimum of 10 years of professional project management experienceExperience in the lottery, gaming, or sports betting industries is preferredMust understand backend technologies and have basic database skillsFluency in German and strong English skillsAbility to bridge between customers, account managers, developers and testersMust be comfortable working in a team environmentWillingness to travel/flexibility to work at customer sites and/or other SG locationsProject management certificates are a nice-to-have (eg.
