We are currently hiring a Senior IT Support Engineer to deliver reliable technical support in an international workplace. If you enjoy resolving complex issues, working directly with users and keeping workplace technology running smoothly, this role offers a varied mix of hands-on troubleshooting and collaboration with specialist IT teams.
Location: GenevaResponsibilities & Tasks:Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.Resolve hardware, software, Microsoft 365, connectivity and remote access issues.Deliver attentive and efficient technical support to executives and business-critical users.Support meeting room technology, audiovisual equipment and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Webex.Prepare and deploy devices, manage workstation changes, and support employee onboarding and offboarding.Configure and maintain endpoints using Intune, SCCM/MECM or comparable tools, supporting software deployment, updates and security compliance.Troubleshoot user accounts, permissions and authentication issues within Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments.Manage incidents and service requests through an ITSM platform, keeping users informed and meeting agreed service targets.Coordinate with infrastructure, network and security teams on complex incidents and with external providers on hardware repairs.Maintain accurate device inventories and clear technical documentation, contributing ideas to improve everyday support.Requirements & Qualifications:At least five years of IT support experience, including practical Level 2 and Level 3 responsibilities.Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows environments, with proven desktop troubleshooting skills.Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and endpoint management tools such as Intune or SCCM/MECM.Familiarity with VPNs, wireless connectivity, DNS, DHCP and secure authentication.Experience with ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM platform and an understanding of incident prioritization and service levels.Strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach and the ability to manage competing requests independently.Fluent English.
