Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot + AWS) with Graph QL📍 Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Onsite/Hybrid)🔹 Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and AWS cloud services to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in backend development, experience working in Agile environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications using Spring Boot and related frameworksBuild and consume RESTful APIs and, where applicable, GraphQL endpointsDeploy, monitor, and maintain applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and SQSCollaborate with front-end teams working on Angular-based UIs and JSP pagesDevelop and optimize data access layers using Hibernate/JPA with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with proper unit testing using JUnit and MockitoParticipate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design decisionsWork within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, and GitActively contribute to Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives🔹 Required Skills & Experience5-8 years of professional experience in Java developmentStrong understanding of Spring Framework and Spring Boot (deep conceptual knowledge)Proven experience building RESTful APIs (GraphQL exposure is a plus)Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, SQS)Strong expertise in Hibernate/JPA and relational databasesExperience with build and CI/CD tools such as Maven/Ant, Jenkins, and GitSolid understanding of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly🔹 Nice to HaveExperience working with microservices architecture and Spring CloudExposure to GCP along with AWSHands-on experience with Docker / containerizationBasic frontend experience with Angular or JavaScript frameworksExperience with IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS)Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting
