Senior Software Engineer - Java2 About the roleThe Senior Software Engineer - Java is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. They collaborate with a team of other developers to create high-quality and innovative software solutions.3 Duties and Responsibilities1.Collaborate with development team, product managers and cross-functional teams to ideate software solutions and deliver new features.2.Communicate with clients and service providers to align the technical requirements.3.Design and develop high-performance and scalable back-end systems.4.Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.5.Develop effective APIs.6.Create security and data protection settings.7.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.8.Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.9.Debug and fix software issues.10.Write technical documentation.11.Stay up to date with new tools and technologies to continuously improve the back-end systems.4 Candidate Requirements1.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.2.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.3.Strong understanding in areas of software engineering such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented, Design patterns, Software Architecture, Database Design, UML etc.4.Experience with Java Spring Boot and Oracle databases.5.Experience working with webservices generating and consuming SOAP and REST services.6.Experience applying APIs security techniques like JWT, Spring Security, OAuth2... etc.7.Good Knowledge in data security, encryption/decryption algorithms like RSA, AES… etc is a plus.8.Experience working with Oracle Weblogic, Apache Tomcat as application servers.9.Experience working with Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies (OSB, Oracle BPM, Oracle UCM) is a plus.10.Good Knowledge in SOA architecture and microservices architecture.Job Description- Sharjah Digital DepartmentSenior Software Engineer - JavaConfidential Page 1 of 111.Experience with Git, BitBucket resource control.12.Working knowledge on Linux Systems.13.Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum).14.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.15.Excellent team player and has leadership skills.16.Excellent communication skills.Salary-19 K AEDNP-30 Days
