About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and scaling of core backend systems and microservices. In this technical leadership role, you will architect enterprise-grade software, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, optimize system performance, and partner with cross-functional leads to deliver robust software solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design, and build low-latency, high-concurrency enterprise Java applications and microservices.Own end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), from technical requirement mapping to production deployment.Conduct comprehensive code reviews, champion engineering best practices, and establish coding standards across teams.Refactor existing codebases, diagnose system bottlenecks, and optimize query/application performance for maximum scalability.Design and implement secure RESTful and gRPC APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging system integrations.Partner with DevOps teams to design and manage automated CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure deployment.Mentor junior and mid-level developers through technical guidance, pair programming, and architectural reviews.Ensure high test coverage and system reliability by implementing automated unit, integration, and load testing frameworks.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.5+ years of hands-on software development experience specializing in Java (Java 11/17/21) and core enterprise frameworks.Deep technical expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.Advanced proficiency in designing distributed systems, microservices architectures, and event-driven patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ).Strong relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) database modeling, indexing, and performance tuning skills.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, domain-driven design (DDD), and CI/CD workflows.Excellent problem-solving capabilities, clear communication, and proven ability to lead technical initiatives independently.
