Senior Java Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java and related technologies.• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance services.• Work closely with Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other technical teams to deliver project requirements.• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve Production issues, ensuring system stability and minimizing business impact.• Analyze system logs, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes/preventive solutions.• Optimize SQL queries and database performance using PostgreSQL.• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement activities.• Contribute to projects within the Insurance Domain and understand business requirements/processes.Requirements:• 4+ years of experience in Java Backend development.• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs and backend development.• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including SQL queries, database design, and performance optimization.• Experience in Production support / Production issue handling, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident resolution.• Experience working in an Insurance Domain project is highly preferred.• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and coding best practices.• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.• Good English communication skills.Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with microservices architecture.• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD is a plus.• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.• Experience with insurance-related systems such as Policy, Claim, Premium, Customer, or Underwriting is a plus.BENEFITS • Salary review twice a year.• Receive social insurance according to Vietnamese Government regulations.• Working in a young and professional environment.
