Senior Java Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java and Spring Framework.Develop and maintain Microservices-based applications following best practices and design patterns.Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and efficient code.Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases and optimize database queries when required.Implement unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.Collaborate with Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps, and other technical teams.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices to improve system performance and scalability.Required Qualifications & Skills4+ years of professional experience in Backend Development Must.Strong proficiency in Java.Hands-on experience with Spring Framework is mandatory.Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.Solid experience developing RESTful APIs.Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.Experience with Git and version control systems.Good understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and clean code principles.Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
