Senior KYC officer

Our client, an international banking institution with a strong presence across Europe, is seeking a Senior KYC Officer to join its Compliance team in Luxembourg.Reporting to senior Compliance leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring the bank's AML/CFT and KYC framework remains fully compliant with Luxembourgish, European, and international regulatory requirements.Tasks:Lead and coordinate the KYC team, ensuring efficient allocation of tasks and high-quality delivery.Oversee client onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing KYC reviews.Draft and maintain AML/CFT and KYC policies and procedures.Perform second-level reviews and quality controls on KYC files.Monitor data quality and regulatory compliance across the client portfolio.Produce AML/KYC reporting for management and governance committees.Support audits, regulatory inspections, and interactions with relevant authorities.Act as a trusted advisor to the business on AML/CFT and KYC matters.Deliver AML/KYC training and awareness initiatives.Profile:Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in AML/CFT, Compliance, or KYC within the financial sector.Strong knowledge of Customer Due Diligence and AML/CFT regulations.Experience with KYC screening and monitoring tools.Fluency in English is required; French and/or Mandarin would be considered an advantage.Strong organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail and confidentiality.Offer:Join a well-established international banking environment.Work on complex and cross-border compliance matters.Take on a senior role with team leadership responsibilities.Benefit from a multicultural and dynamic working environment.For a confidential discussion about this opportunity, please contact our team.
