Senior Laboratory Technician - Ready Mix Factory

Role Description: Responsible for carrying out laboratory testing and quality-control activities for raw materials and fresh/hardened concrete, ensuring compliance with approved mix designs, project specifications, and applicable international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and inspection of raw materials including cement, aggregates, water, andchemical admixtures.
• Perform laboratory tests on fresh concrete, including slump, temperature, density/unitweight, and air content where applicable.
• Prepare concrete cubes/cylinders and conduct compressive-strength testing at specified ages.
• Monitor and verify concrete mix designs and trial mixes.
• Perform aggregate testing including sieve analysis, moisture content, specific gravity,absorption, and other relevant tests.
• Monitor cement and admixture quality through laboratory testing and supplier certificates.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, calibration records, and quality-controldocumentation.
• Investigate non-conforming test results and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the batching plant, production team, project/site technicians, and QCengineers.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated safely.
• Support development and optimization of concrete mixes to improve strength, workability,durability, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
• Ensure all testing is performed according to approved procedures, project specifications,and relevant standards.Educational Qualifications : Civil Engineer
