Senior Laserfiche Engineer

Penta Consulting are a technology resource solutions provider to leading OEMs across the EMEA region.Role OverviewThe Senior Laserfiche ECM Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting automation-centric ECM solutions using Laserfiche and Microsoft development technologies. The role focuses on workflow automation, digital forms, repository-driven business logic, and enterprise integrations that help transform manual processes into secure, scalable, and auditable digital services.This position requires strong experience in C#, .NET, API-based integrations, and Laserfiche Forms / Workflow design, with the ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, administrators, records teams, and client stakeholders to deliver robust and supportable ECM capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Laserfiche Forms solutions for service requests, approvals, case management, onboarding, procurement, correspondence, and other digital workflows.Build and optimize Laserfiche Workflow automations, including routing rules, escalations, notifications, approvals, metadata updates, SLA monitoring, and exception handling.Develop C# / .NET integrations between Laserfiche and external enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, email platforms, portals, identity services, and payment systems.Implement API-based integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, webhooks, or middleware patterns as required by the target architecture.Translate business requirements into technical design documents, process maps, field structures, form logic, template usage, metadata models, and repository automation rules.Support document capture and ingestion use cases, including imports, metadata assignment, validation rules, OCR-enabled processing, and structured content classification.Prepare technical specifications, solution design documents, deployment plans, unit test cases, and release notes for each implemented solution.Participate in sprint planning, solution walkthroughs, UAT support, hypercare, and production issue resolution activities.Troubleshoot workflow failures, integration errors, performance bottlenecks, and form logic defects across development, test, and production environments.Ensure that developed solutions comply with repository security rules, audit requirements, naming standards, and records governance principles.Collaborate with administrators to align application behavior with access rights, roles, authentication methods, and platform constraints.Contribute to reusable components, coding standards, and best practices for Laserfiche implementation within the project team.Required Skills & ExperienceMandatoryMinimum 10 years of experience in enterprise application development or ECM/BPM solution delivery.Minimum 4 years of hands-on Laserfiche development experience, including Forms and Workflow.Strong programming experience in C#, .NET / .NET Core, and SQL.Experience in designing and consuming APIs and integrating with third-party systems.Ability to prepare technical documentation and support UAT / production deployment activities.Good understanding of repository metadata, templates, field structures, and search-friendly information architecture.Professional proficiency in English; Arabic is highly desirable.Preferred / Nice to HaveLaserfiche Cloud experienceExperience in banking/government sectorsCI/CD tools exposureCloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI)Laserfiche certificationsTechnical Stack / ToolsLaserfiche Forms / Business ProcessesLaserfiche Workflow / Process AutomationC#, .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NETREST / SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, web servicesSQL Server, stored procedures, query optimizationJavaScript, HTML, CSS for form behavior and UI enhancementWindows Server, IIS, Active Directory / SSO integrationSource control, test case management, and structured release procedures
