Senior / Lead .NET Developer

About the OpportunityWe are partnering with an established and continuously growing Greek technology & data management organization with over 25 years of market presence. As part of a major modern tech transformation, the company is expanding its engineering capabilities to build custom, AI-driven products and next-generation solutions.Under new tech leadership, we are looking for an experienced Senior / Lead .NET Developer (Hands-on & Team Lead) to lead aν established engineering team and play a pivotal role in shaping software architecture and AI-focused software practices.The RoleThis is a hybrid, hands-on leadership role. You will combine deep technical expertise in the .NET ecosystem with team leadership, architecture strategy, and mentoring. You will report directly to the CTO and be responsible for scaling and guiding a growing engineering team (projected to reach 5+ engineers by early next year).

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Development & Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using .NET Core and React.Technical Leadership & Strategy: Define technical strategy, introduce industry best practices, implement robust architecture patterns, and drive code reviews.Team Mentorship & Growth: Lead, mentor, and support a newly formed engineering team, helping developers write clean, efficient code aligned with business goals.Tech Modernization & AI Integration: Evaluate and integrate new tools, methodologies, and AI practices into the engineering lifecycle.What We Are Looking ForExperience: 7+ years of total software engineering experience, including at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in the .NET stack (.NET Core / C#).Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience leading or managing a software team of 4+ developers.Front-End Awareness: Good working knowledge/understanding of modern Front-End technologies (preferably React) to effectively oversee full-stack deliverables.Engineering Standards: Strong background in software architecture, design patterns, clean code principles, and structured code reviews.Mindset: Proactive leader who understands business objectives, enjoys mentoring, and is eager to bring AI-driven solutions and modern tech tools into the engineering ecosystem.Why Join?Growth & Impact: Join a stable, market-leading organization actively transforming its product offering with cutting-edge AI technologies.Leadership Visibility: Work directly alongside an experienced CTO with full ownership of a growing tech team.Career Path: Real opportunity to build, mentor, and scale your own engineering unit from the ground up.Sounds interesting ?
