The university seeks ambitious educators who share its vision of empowering students to excel locally and globally.Role Description The Senior Lecturer: Psychology, will be responsible for delivering high-quality curriculum content, seminars, and tutorials, as well as potentially supervising student projects and research at Rosebank International University College. Day-to-day tasks include designing and updating course materials, assessing student performance, providing academic mentoring, and contributing to curriculum development. The role also involves engaging in scholarly activities such as research, publication, and participation in academic conferences, while collaborating with colleagues on departmental initiatives and quality assurance processes. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring regular presence on campus for teaching, student consultation, and faculty meetings.QualificationsAdvanced academic qualification (preferably a PhD or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and a strong record of university-level teaching experience.Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, assessment development, and the use of modern pedagogical approaches, including blended and learner-centered teaching.Evidence of active research, scholarly publications, and participation in academic or professional conferences and networks.Strong communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with the ability to engage diverse student populations in an inclusive learning environment.Proven ability to mentor students, supervise research projects, and contribute to academic advising and student support services.Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary faculty, contribute to departmental administration, and support institutional initiatives.Familiarity with educational technologies, learning management systems, and digital tools that enhance teaching and learning.Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and alignment with RIUC’s mission of providing accessible, high-quality education.
