Senior Lecturer - Health and Wellbeing

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lecturer – Health and Wellbeing to join our academic team and support the continued development and delivery of Cavalli College’s Health and Wellbeing programmes.This is a senior academic role with a strong emphasis on curriculum development, programme review and continuous improvement, alongside teaching, assessment and learner support. You’ll provide academic guidance to the Health and Wellbeing team and play an important role in developing programmes and pathways that remain current, relevant and responsive to the sectors we serve.Key responsibilities:Lead curriculum, course and assessment development and review, including the development of new Health and Wellbeing programmes and pathways.Coordinate moderation, programme review and quality assurance activities.Provide academic leadership, guidance and support to the Health and Wellbeing teaching team.Oversee and support the operational delivery of Health and Wellbeing programmes.Undertake teaching, assessment and workplace visits to support learner achievement.Monitor learner progression and programme outcomes to inform continuous improvement.Build and maintain strong relationships with Health and Wellbeing sector stakeholders to ensure programmes remain relevant and responsive.We’re looking for someone who has:A Level 7 or above qualification in Health and Wellbeing or a relevant related field.Strong experience in curriculum and programme development.Relevant sector experience in Advanced Care and Support and/or Mental Health and Addiction.Tertiary teaching and assessment experience.Experience with moderation, programme review and quality assurance processes.Strong knowledge and experience within the Health and Wellbeing sector.The ability to provide academic leadership and support to teaching staff.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.A genuine learner-centred approach and commitment to positive educational outcomesHow to apply:If you’re an experienced tertiary educator who is passionate about curriculum development, quality teaching and making a difference within the Health and Wellbeing sector, send your CV and cover letter outlining your relevant experience to hr@cavallicollege.nz.
