Senior Lecturer in AI/ Cybersecurity/Data Analytics

Salary: RM8,000 - RM10,000 (Based on experience)MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:To lecture/teach the course(s) assigned and cover the syllabi outlined for the assigned course(s) in a logical and readily understood sequence, and in accordance with students' assignment requirements.To assist students in the understanding of the topics covered and generally to prepare them for their final examinations.To guide students in the understanding of assignment requirements.To answer student queries on academic matters relating to the unit promptly.To set and mark assessments (quiz, test, assignments, examinations) for students.To invigilate examinations.To develop and update course materials as required.To attend staff meetings as deemed necessary by the Head of the Department.To give students regular guidance to assist the progress of their academic achievement.To counsel students on appropriate career/academic direction on completion of their course.To counsel at exhibition fairs which HELP participates.To conduct research in areas as per discussion with Head of Department and publish papers and present papers at conferenceTo undertake related administrative duties including course and programme leadership, and in committees, as required by the faculty and university.PREFERRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND JOB COMPETENCIES1. Minimum Academic QualificationCandidates must possess a PhD degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity2. ExperiencePreferably candidates with specialisation or knowledge in Cybersecurity, AI, or Data analyticsAt least 5 years working experience as an academic.Experience as a programme leader and supervision at Masters and PhD level would be an advantage.3.
