We are looking for a Legal Consultant with mandatory Dubai experience to work on the legal aspects of our business, which includes real estate and construction. You will safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows local and international guidelines and providing best-practice, sound legal advice to management concerning relevant issues.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage a broad range of day-to-day legal matters and provide practical legal advice to management and business teams.Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements and other legal documentation.Advise on UAE civil, commercial and real estate matters.Manage disputes involving purchasers, tenants, brokers, contractors, consultants and other counterparties, including coordination with external counsel.Handle rental disputes, cheque execution/enforcement matters and other claims, with a strong practical understanding of Dubai court procedures.Advise on UAE employment and labour law matters.Review and advise on construction-related contracts and legal issues and work closely with management and the contract administration team on construction matters.Identify legal, contractual and commercial risks at an early stage and recommend practical solutions and appropriate courses of action.Support legal matters relating to Saudi Arabia and coordinate with local counsel where required.Requirements In-house experience is highly preferred.Strong knowledge and practical experience in UAE civil, commercial and real estate law.Demonstrable experience in disputes, rental matters, enforcement procedures and the Dubai court system.Good understanding of construction contracts and construction-related legal issues. Experience within the real estate development or construction sector would be an advantage.Good working knowledge of UAE employment law.Exposure to Saudi legal and regulatory matters would be an advantage.Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.Fluency in both Arabic and English is preferred, including the ability to review and work with legal documentation in both languages.Able to work independently, take ownership of matters and manage competing priorities with limited supervision.Strong commercial judgment and the ability to look beyond the immediate legal issue and understand its broader implications for the business.
