The firm is dedicated to building long-term relationships through legal expertise, strategic thinking, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of clients’ business needs.Role Description The Senior Legal Counsel will serve as a key advisor on complex legal matters, supporting individuals and corporate clients across the firm’s core practice areas. Responsibilities include providing legal consultations, drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents, assessing legal risks, and delivering clear, practical legal advice. The role involves managing litigation and dispute resolution strategies, coordinating with external parties and authorities, and overseeing case files and documentation. The Senior Legal Counsel will contribute to corporate and commercial transactions, support compliance and governance frameworks, and participate in arbitration and mediation proceedings as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, requiring close collaboration with partners, associates, and clients to ensure high-quality, timely legal services.The Legal Consultant has over 10 years of legal experience in the United Arab Emirates, with extensive knowledge of judicial procedures and the local and federal court systems. His expertise includes preparing and drafting statements of claim, defense memoranda, legal memoranda, court applications, responses, and submissions required throughout all stages of litigation, ensuring that each case is handled with accuracy and professionalism while providing effective legal solutions to protect clients’ rights and interests and achieve the best possible outcomes.QualificationsStrong foundation in Law, with expertise in corporate, commercial, and dispute resolution matters.Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and revising agreements.Ability to identify, analyze, and manage Legal Issues across multiple practice areas and jurisdictions.Demonstrated experience in providing clear, practical Legal Advice tailored to diverse client needs.Licensed to practice law, with a relevant law degree from an accredited institution.Several years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house role, preferably with exposure to the UAE and GCC legal frameworks.Strong advocacy, negotiation, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.Ability to manage multiple matters concurrently, work collaboratively in a team, and maintain high ethical standards.Experience in litigation, arbitration, or mediation, and familiarity with corporate governance and regulatory compliance is highly beneficial.
