Senior Legal Counsel | MunichOur client is a fast-growing international hardware technology company scaling its product platform across Europe. The Munich site needs a permanent, dedicated legal presence - someone to build the function from scratch rather than inherit one. Working closely with the Group General Counsel, this person will define what "legal" looks like for the German business as it grows.The role:Build the legal framework for the German entity, aligned with group-level standards.Create internal policies, templates and approval workflows to support faster, lower-risk decision-making.Lead German employment law matters as headcount grows, including works council setup and co-determination duties.Own regulatory compliance across the relevant EU and German frameworks, bringing in outside specialists as needed.Track export control and trade compliance requirements as the business enters new markets.Manage IP matters - patents, trademarks, copyright and licensing.Support investment rounds, cross-border structuring, due diligence and intercompany setups alongside finance.Act as the main contact for regulators, notaries and other authorities in Germany and beyond.Advise management on legal and risk considerations in operational decisions.What you'll need:Seven-plus years in legal or corporate law, with strong German corporate and commercial practice.Exposure to international group structures; cross-border EU experience is a bonus.Background with regulated physical products - certification, safety or manufacturing environments (automotive, industrial machinery, hardware or medical technology).Working knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks relevant to hardware, AI and connected products.Fluent German and strong English.Experience at a top-tier firm or in-house in tech or industrial settings is a plus.A structured, independent mindset.How to apply:Interested?
