Senior Legal Counsel - Construction

Location: Dallas, TXSalary: $170,000 - 230,000 base + bonus incentivesPosition Overview:You’ll serve as a key legal advisor on both transactional and dispute-related issues, acting as a strategic partner from the U.S. perspective to the global business.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including engineering, construction, EPC, labor, subcontractor, and vendor contracts, as well as site policies and EHS-related documentation.Advise business units and functional leaders on legal matters impacting operations and strategy.Oversee and resolve commercial disputes, including claims, mediations, arbitrations, and litigation, coordinating with insurers and external counsel when needed.Partner with HR to handle labor and employment-related issues, including disputes and litigation.Manage responses to and engagement with regulatory bodies (e.g., workplace, labor, and employment authorities).

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degreeLicensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas (or another approved jurisdiction)8+ years of relevant experience either in a law firm or in-house environmentDemonstrated experience with large-scale EPC or construction projectsIf this interests you, apply, or reach me directly: dhill@hpexec.com
