The Senior Legal Counsel will provide pragmatic and business-oriented legal support to Procurement, Supply Chain, Industrial Operations, Logistics and IT functions across the region.The role will support the negotiation of commercial agreements, manage legal risks associated with operational activities, and contribute to the delivery of strategic projects in a complex international environment.Working closely with business stakeholders and the wider Legal team, the position offers broad exposure to operational and commercial matters across multiple jurisdictions. Key accountabilities:Commercial Contracting & Legal AdvisoryDraft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including:Procurement and supplier agreementsLogistics and warehousing contractsService agreementsManufacturing and industrial services agreementsProvide practical legal advice to business stakeholders on day-to-day operational mattersSupport contract lifecycle management and ensure compliance with internal policies and legal standardsBusiness PartneringAct as a trusted legal business partner to Procurement, Supply Chain, Industrial Operations, Finance and IT teamsContribute to cross-functional projects by identifying legal risks and proposing pragmatic solutionsSupport the implementation of legal frameworks and templates across the regionRisk Management & DisputesIdentify, assess and mitigate contractual and operational risksAssist in the management of contractual disputes, claims and pre-litigation mattersEscalate significant legal risks and sensitive matters where appropriateCompliance & GovernanceSupport the implementation of compliance initiatives and internal governance requirementsEnsure contractual practices remain aligned with applicable laws and company policiesDeliver legal awareness and training sessions to business stakeholders when requiredCandidate profile :Master’s degree in business law or equivalent legal qualificationQualified lawyer or in-house counsel with approximately 8/10 years of experienceStrong experience in commercial contracts and business law, CLM experience is a +Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, consumer goods or FMCG environment is highly desirableSolid contract drafting and negotiation skills Ability to provide practical and solution-oriented legal adviceStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within an international legal teamFluent in English and FrenchStrategic thinking with strong business acumen Ability to operate in complex, fast-paced, and international environments Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities at senior level Sound judgment and ability to balance risk and operational imperatives Credibility and presence to engage with senior stakeholders
