قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob PurposeThe Senior Legal Manager leads the delivery of legal, regulatory, and contractual support across corporate, commercial, and project activities for a semi government entity in Abu Dhabi. The role carries a strong regulatory focus, working closely with government agencies and court authorities, managing litigation and case files, and reviewing contracts in both Arabic and English. It combines hands-on legal work with managerial responsibility, and calls for sound judgment, strong communication, and the confidence to engage directly with regulators, authorities, and external counsel.Key ResponsibilitiesLead regulatory affairs and ensure compliance with applicable laws, acting as a primary point of contact with relevant government agencies and regulatory bodies.Manage litigation and case handling end to end, including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining case files and coordinating with court authorities and external counsel.Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts and commercial agreements in both Arabic and English.Provide legal support across corporate, commercial, and project matters, advising internal stakeholders on legal risk and regulatory obligations.Review and interpret judgments, rulings, and official correspondence issued in Arabic.Handle administrative legal tasks and maintain accurate records, registers, and documentation.Support governance and corporate legal matters as required.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Law (LLB) and admission to a recognized bar.Minimum 8 years of relevant legal experience spanning corporate, commercial, and regulatory work.Demonstrated experience in regulatory affairs together with litigation and case management.Proven track record of liaising with government agencies, regulators, and court authorities.Preferred BackgroundPreference for candidates whose experience has been gained at top-tier law firms and / or with major organizations in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sector, where exposure to complex regulatory environments and high-value commercial matters is typical.Skills & CompetenciesFull professional fluency in Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking), including the ability to review contracts and read judgments in Arabic.Strong regulatory knowledge combined with solid case and file management skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.Strong contract drafting skills.
