COBCO focuses on diversified battery materials products and solutions to meet customer needs, covering the entire industry chain of refining, battery materials, and recycling. COBCO is committed to building a low-carbon, high-quality, closed-loop battery material manufacturing ecosystem to meet the diverse needs of its customers for sustainable battery materials and solutions in the European and North-American markets.We are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Specialist to join our team and act as a trusted legal partner to our leadership. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and top management, providing legal guidance that directly shapes our business decisions.📍 Location: Casablanca, Morocco — with frequent travel to El Jadida (up to once per week)🎯 What you'll do:

• Provide legal advice and guidance directly to the CEO, CFO, and top management, as well as all business departments
• Analyze complex legal issues and deliver practical, business-oriented recommendations that support strategic decision-making
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts and agreements, ensuring our interests are fully protected
• Identify, assess, and monitor legal risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report significant risks to management
• Handle and coordinate disputes, claims, and litigation matters, including managing relationships with external lawyers and legal advisors
• Support corporate legal affairs and dealings with authorities, partners, suppliers, and other external stakeholders
• Review corporate documents and ensure all legal formalities are properly completed
• Contribute to the development of our legal strategy and policies, and support continuous improvement of legal processes
• Act as the key legal point of contact for the organization✅ What we're looking for:
• Master's degree or above in Law or a related legal field
• Minimum 7–10 years of legal experience, with strong expertise in corporate law, contract management, legal advisory, and legal risk management
• Proven experience in an industrial, multinational, or international company is required — you must be comfortable navigating complex industrial and cross-border environments
• Fluent English is essential — English is the primary working language and the ability to use it confidently in drafting, negotiation, and high-level communication is a must
• Excellent contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills
• Strong legal analysis and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with C-level executives
• Ability to work independently and manage complex legal matters with a high level of responsibility
• Strong professional judgment and attention to detail
