Job Description — Senior Linux & Virtualization EngineerExperience: 6–10 YearsWe are seeking a Senior Linux & Virtualization Engineer with strong hands-on experience in RHEL, VMware, OpenShift Virtualization, Kubernetes, enterprise storage, backup solutions, web/middleware platforms, and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise infrastructure environments.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments across the full infrastructure lifecycle.Manage VMware vSphere and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization platforms.Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure application deployment reliability.Manage NFS, CIFS/SMB permissions and enterprise SAN/NAS environments.Work with Pure Storage, IBM Storage, and Oracle ZFS platforms.Administer Commvault backup, recovery, and data protection solutions.Provision and support LAMP stacks, SSL certificates, and web infrastructure.Support Java, Apache Tomcat, and JBoss application environments.Develop automation and operational scripts using Bash, Python, Perl, or Ruby.Perform troubleshooting, performance optimization, patching, upgrades, and root-cause analysis.Maintain infrastructure security, availability, capacity, and operational standards.Required SkillsStrong expertise in RHEL/Linux AdministrationHands-on experience with VMware vSphereExperience with OpenShift Virtualization and KubernetesKnowledge of SAN/NAS, NFS, CIFS/SMB, and enterprise storageExperience with Commvault Backup & RecoveryWorking knowledge of LAMP, Java, Tomcat, and JBossStrong scripting and automation skills using Bash/Python/Perl/RubyStrong troubleshooting and incident-management capabilitiesGood understanding of enterprise infrastructure, security, and high-availability environmentsImmediate Joiners / Short Notice Candidates Preferred.
