Senior Linux Customer Engineer (Arabic Speaking)Location: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain or Egypt (Remote)Salary: Local equivalent of US$140,000 - US$160,000 plus benefitsWe're partnering with a rapidly growing US-based infrastructure software company that is helping organisations build and operate some of the world's most demanding Linux, cloud, AI and high-performance computing environments.Due to continued growth across the Middle East and the expansion of an established regional customer base, we're seeking an Arabic and English-speaking Senior Linux Customer Engineer to join a highly skilled international team.This Is Not a Traditional Support RoleThis position combines:Customer EngineeringLinux Systems EngineeringDevOps & AutomationRoot Cause AnalysisProduct & Engineering CollaborationThe role is approximately 50% customer-facing technical engineering and 50% development, automation, testing and continuous improvement.What You'll Be DoingResolving complex technical challenges across enterprise Linux environmentsActing as a trusted technical advisor for strategic customersTroubleshooting Linux, infrastructure, networking, storage and performance issuesWorking closely with Engineering teams to identify root causes and deliver permanent solutionsBuilding automation and improving operational processesMentoring team members and sharing technical expertiseContributing to technical documentation and knowledge managementCollaborating with colleagues across multiple countries, including occasional international travelWhat We're Looking ForProfessional fluency in Arabic and EnglishSignificant experience within Linux Administration, Linux Engineering, DevOps or Infrastructure EngineeringDeep Linux troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilitiesExperience with scripting and automation tools including Bash and PythonKnowledge of cloud platforms, virtualisation and container technologiesStrong customer-facing communication skillsExperience supporting enterprise-scale production environmentsExperience within cybersecurity, Kubernetes, AI infrastructure, high-performance computing (HPC) or open-source technologies would be highly advantageous.Why Join?Fully remote roleWork with globally recognised enterprise, government and research organisationsExposure to some of the most advanced Linux environments in the industryJoin a highly experienced team with strong Linux and DevOps expertiseGenuine opportunities for progression as the Middle East business continues to expandCompetitive salary equivalent to US$140,000-US$160,000This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Linux professional looking to combine deep technical engineering with customer impact in a high-growth global technology business.
